Terms of Service

Welcome to AajKya. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AajKya mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by AajKya ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AajKya. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Your Account

Authentication is done via phone number using Firebase OTP or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining access to the phone number or account you sign in with.
You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding (age, height, weight, activity level, dietary preferences) so that meal plans can be correctly personalised.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us immediately at the email address below.

3. Acceptable Use

When using AajKya, you agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
Access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our written permission.
Share, resell, or sublicense your account or meal plans to third parties.
Upload or transmit any content that is harmful, harassing, or infringing on others' rights.

4. Meal Plans and Nutrition — Not Medical Advice

AajKya generates meal plans, nutrition targets (calories, protein, carbs, fat), and recipe suggestions based on the information you provide. This content is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider, registered dietitian, or physician before making significant changes to your diet — especially if you have a medical condition, allergies, are pregnant or nursing, or are taking medication.
Nutrition values are estimates and may not reflect the exact composition of the food you prepare or consume.
You are solely responsible for verifying that any recipe or meal plan is safe and appropriate for you before following it.

5. Family Sharing

If you create or join a family group, other members of that family may see meal plans and preferences shared within the group. Do not share sensitive personal information through the family feature.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it. By accepting these Terms, you also acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

AajKya relies on third-party services for authentication and infrastructure, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Analytics (by Google). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and policies, including Google's Terms of Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, recipes, meal-plan logic, and all associated content, is owned by AajKya and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Your personal meal plans and profile data remain yours.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or that meal plans will produce any specific health or fitness outcome.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AajKya and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or health outcomes resulting from following a meal plan. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in-app or via email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
