AajKya — account & data deletion
You can request deletion of your AajKya account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
How to request deletion
Email us from the address associated with your account, and we will delete it:
Or email support@aajkya.co.in with the subject "Delete my AajKya account". You can also reach this page any time from inside the app: Profile → Delete Account.
What gets deleted
Upon a verified request, we permanently delete:
- Your account and login identity (Google account association / email)
- Your profile and physical details (name, age, gender, height, weight, activity level, goals)
- Your meal preferences (diet type, cuisine preferences)
- Your meal plans, meal logs, and saved recipes
- Your family membership data tied to your account
Timeline
We process and complete deletion requests within 30 days of verification. You will receive a confirmation once your data has been removed.
Data we may retain
We do not retain personal data after deletion, except where required by law. Anonymised, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be retained.
